Here is the poem I promised for our addict daughters. As I was - TopicsExpress

Here is the poem I promised for our addict daughters. As I was getting ready to post, I hear a noise in the kitchen window. Its a beautiful female cardinal, pecking at the window. What a miracle memory I will cherish for life! As Our Heart Breaks: My sweet little girl, so pretty and innocent, wondering why you always seemed so distant. I watched you grow and I watched you blossom, into a beautiful young woman, but with no caution. You trust in everyone, but you didnt know, how mean the world is, as youre on the go. You met the wrong people, and they sucked you in, to a life of misery, that youll never win. A mom always worries, and a dad turns to fury, to know that youre always in such a hurry. We ask you to slow down, cause youre never around, knowing what could happen to you while out on the town. One day you leave and you never come back, were not sure what happened, but know were on your track. The choices you made, were hard to believe, as you were the one chosen to succeed. Youre loved and youre missed, we just wish we had given you that one last kiss. We hope and we pray and that youre ok, we worry and wonder everyday. Please know that were here, if you ever need us, as our arms will reach out to hug you tenderly. Where did you go, our hearts are so torn, and daily we cry, and we pray and we mourn. Please come home, we beg and we plead, just another day to save you is what we need. By Carin Miller
