Here is the updated Carmelite Home wish list: PLEASE read & share... MOST IMPORTANTLY.... DO WHAT YOU CAN TO HELP OUT!!! Per Sister Maria: ****They are trying to buy all new furniture and beds for the children, any cash donations to the Carmelite Home is GREATLY appreciated, as it will assist in the purchasing of all the new furniture.**** Checks may be made out to: St. Josephs Carmelite Home. Gas cards, food cards, and store gift cards are also always welcomed. The Carmelite Home is currently housing 67 children... BOYS AND GIRLS ages NEWBORN-18 years old! {So, of course ALL of this list concerns girls as well as boys...where applicable} ** They are in needs of socks, underwear, and undershirts at this time. ALL SIZES ARE WELCOMED** Also any new warm clothing for this up coming season would be great! (Thermals, PJs, etc.) *MOST IMPORTANTLY* IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS LOOKING TO GET RID OF A USED VAN/MINI VAN, IN GOOD CONDITION... THE CARMELITE HOME IS HOPING TO FIND ONE, TO BE DONATED TO THEM.... THIS, OF COURSE WOULD BE USED TO TRANSPORT THE KIDS. *** PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!!!! *** Wii & Play Station games, as well as controllers are more than welcomed as a donation. Used games and consoles are also welcomed as a donation. IF you care to donate a game... Board games are also welcomed. **PLEASE make sure that they are age appropriate and NON violent. The Wii Dance & Exercise games are a perfect example, in fact she asked for those by name.** Legos are another popular toy that the kids enjoy playing with so please feel free to donate those as well. Tumbling mats have been requested, along with any other sports equipment you would like to donate: Basketballs, soccer balls, etc. PERSONAL PRODUCTS: (If possible, please, have these products as hypoallergenic and perfume free.) Diapers of all sizes are welcomed. Bay wipes as well. Body Wash, Deodorant, Hair gels, Super tampons, Rubbermaid totes, Liquid detergent, Paper towels, Toilet paper, Vaseline, Shampoo & Conditioners, Body lotion, Uniform pants (Navy blue), School Shirts (Polo shirts), Undershirts, Socks, Underwear, Boys Clothes (Sized 7-12 years, even Husky size is ok) FOOD PRODUCTS: Please make sure that any food donated is not expired or near the expiration date!!! Baby Formula (in an orange can, by Gerber) called Gentle Ease. The Carmelite Home is willing to take any and all food donations, again, please make sure these products are not expired or near their expiration date!
