Here is what my logic tells me. There is no way that everything can come from nothing. Something had to create everything. God is that something. So I most definitely believe in God. There is written historical evidence for the existence of Jesus, His accusation by the Jews of blasphemy for claiming to be God, the sentence of crucifixion, the occurrence of the crucifixion, His burial and resurrection as is witnessed by the empty tomb. The eyewitness accounts of His post burial resurrection with Him speaking to His disciples about the Great Commission and His ascension into heaven where He is now sitting at the right hand of God the Father. While it is difficult to believe in something that happened almost 2000 years ago, would you have believed it when it happened 2 years ago if you had been living in that time period? Why or why not?
