THE NEXT BEST THING: APPLY LADIES Thespringprojects in collaboration with Femme Fierce: Leake Street All Girl Takeover are looking for a female graffiti/street artist/creative mind dreaming about putting their work in the infamous Banksy tunnel in London on the 8 March as part of the international graffiti street art festival Femme Fierce: Reloaded 2015. If you are the chosen one, we will get you over to London from anywhere in the world, paying for your stay in London from 7-9th of March. Not only you will be part of the event, but we will also document you and your work on film. Additionally, you will be interviewed by various media. HOW CAN YOU APPLY FOR THE NEXT BEST THING? Send an email to bri@thespringprojects (SUBJECT: “The Next Best Thing”) where you: • Tell us about yourself (max 1000 words or a short video) • Attach a description with a sketch of the work you want to put on the wall • Attach samples or pictures of some work you have already done (JPEG files not exceeding 1MB) The application ends February 7th 2015. Practical information and selection criteria: • Female age +16 (or parent/guardian involved) • Unrepresented by an agent or gallery • Valid Passport (min. 6 month to expiry) • Use spray paint and/or markers as your main medium Registration is open to amateur and professional artists. If you already booked your trip to be part of the event and you want to apply, please keep your ticket and receipts. You are still welcome to participate in this initiative and we shall reimburse you. If you are from the UK and your work ends up being selected as the Next Best Thing, we will find another way to massively spoil you.
