Here we go, todays update. Although we are extremely happy to be home Chris and I are exhausted. Around the clock care is not for the faint of heart. Attached are some photos of our med line up. One is the schedule of what needs to be given when and the other are all the meds we are giving. :/ Kaylee is tired today to. She has slept most of the day. She is still eating which is great. Today we have had a ton of progress with productive coughing. Although this is a double edged sword. Now we are battling coughs that are so strong that it makes her vomit. So it is a balancing act. We are trying to work food in an hour after breathing treatments which gives her an hour to cough after treatments and then 3 hours for food to settle before the the next treatment. My Mom and I took Dresden to see Mr. Peabody and Sherman this afternoon. It was good to get him out of the house and to have some special time just for him. Although he is soooooo happy his sister is home. The last 3 weeks have been hard on him to. Its not always easy or fun the be the sibling of a sick kid. Thank you all again for your love and prayers. Keep them coming because we have a long way to go, but we are feeling better about the treatments since we can see a visible improvement in her from both the lungs and the fungal infection. She is a fighter :) and so are we.
