Here you can find some statistics concerning the table football in Hellas. Let’s see stats about championship 2014 • In the open championship 2014, 70 players took part. In comparison with 2013 (69) we had plus one. This figure is the best number (we are talking about open category) since 1990. 1989 we had 75. • The average age of those 70 players was 38,9 years old. Only 4 under 19 players took part (vlassopoulos, golemis, falellakis and haratsis). On the other hand 29 of them are veterans. • 12 different were represented in the competition. Glyfada is leading the category with 12 players, then Olympia with 10 and atlas with 9. • Giorgos koutis won the competition for the 4th time in his career (2000, 2003, 2009 and 2014). His total number of finals is now 8 (plus 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2011). • The finalist velissarios fragakis played his first ever final in the open championship This was the 35th edition of the open championship. The history started in 1977. Then 1980. The 3rd was in 1982. Since then it became an annual event. Let’s see some figures • Having almost all the results (1977 and 1980 are missing) we have an astonishing number of 1657 different players participating at minimum 1 championship (all categories). The average per player is 2,3 competitions. • 8 players played this year their first championship. Golemis, karagianniotis, kouridakis, krikelis, hantzakis, hatzikonstantinou and falellakis father and son. • The top ten list in participations is: aggelinas chris and George 28, papakonstantinou 27, dimakeas 26, koutis giorgos 25, drazinakis and poulidis 24, zavos, kechris and priftis 23. • The best record that is still valid with continual participations is 18 (1997 till now and still running) and it belongs to chris aggelinas • It was the 8th times that we needed a penalty shoot out to determine the champion. The rest of the seasons are 1985, 1991, 1992, 2000, 2006, 2009 and 2010. • It was the third time that the final score of the open final was 0-0. The rest of the years are 1985 and 1992 • The most common result of the final is 2-1 with 12 appearances Closing here are some figures about the situation in Hellas this season and up to now • So far this season an amazing number of 195 different hellas players have played in hellas –even just one half of a game- for the season 2013-2014 • 145 of them have played even one individual competition and 164 of them in team competition. • With 15 competition so far in this season the average per player is 4,9 • The figure of 195 is the best number since season 1994-95 with 202 players
