Heres a HAPPY video of Doogie Bowser on the car ride from the high-kill rural county shelter to ACS--Louisvilles 1st NO-KILL animal shelter!! Little guy is as happy as can be!! Will you be the one to give this 14-lb Poodle mix a loving furever home?? When he arrived at ACS, Doogie was heavily infested with fleas. After a good bath & some Frontline Plus, hes now free from those blood-sucking little monsters & no doubt feeling 100% better! Doogie wont potty in his crate at all & is reluctant to potty in his outside kennel so theres a good chance hes house-trained. He seems to be OK with other dogs, but were sure he wouldnt mind being an only child because Doogie LOVES attention. Because hes such a people-dog, hes very vocal when hes crated so keep this in mind if you live in an apartment or condo. Doogie has great leash manners & loves to go for walks. His silky, curly coat will require regular grooming with 3-4 professional cuts a year - shedding should be minimal. Doogie cant go to a new home until after he is neutered, but were taking applications on him now. Little dogs like Doogie are quickly adopted so make sure you submit your app asap if you think you are interested in giving him a loving lifetime home.
