Heres a fun Pot Bellied Stove accent lamp produced by Twin Winton when the factory was still located in Pasadena, CA. (circa 1950-1953). Its a slightly different model than the Pot Bellied Stove cookie jar produced in the late 1960s. Its original color was the familiar light brown wood stain but a previous owner painted it with stove black paint. Frankly, I think I rather like it better in black. It is marked Twin Winton Design, Pasadena, California (copyright symbol) and stands 10 inches tall by 6 inches wide at its widest point. I have a number of the 1960s catalogs and it doesnt appear in any of them, which makes me think it might only have been produced for a short period of time in the 1950s and then discontinued. it still works and it had a red light bulb in it when we bought it,which makes it look like a fire is burning inside when it is turned on.
