Heres a funky little gem from Monday night - playing one of my all-time favourite Brit-Funk tunes by the omnipresent Level 42.. From their early (and arguably best) days.. With a special nod to Brandon Allen for tearing it up on the sax, Nick Van Gelder for expert use of the synare, Katie Hector for weaving in amongst a cobweb of Mike Lindup vocal harmonies, Bobby Quigley for playing Wally Badarous synth parts on the waa-geetar, and Andy Tolman for not turning on the flashing LEDs.. And Julian Fontenell for capturing it, as always! Rocking! x
