Heres a gooder ! We had a night off in Saskatoon and after going bowling ( ! ) , my friend Lesley and I took Johnny down to Buds on Broadway . There wasnt any blues happening that night , but I ran into Big Dave and Doc McLean . I took them to meet Johnny where Doc told Johnny some cool Robert Pete Williams stories . Johnny was really into the fact that Dave and Doc both play National guitars and tour acoustically . We ran into them again in Winnipeg soon after and they brought Johnny some CDs and one of their satin tour jackets . Johnny thought these guys were super cool !
