Heres a great example why you should pay attention to hurricane forecasts every day. At the beginning, the initial forecast (which ended up being perfect in timing/location) wavered quite a bit over the next few days until it settled back into its original spot. Computer models used to track these storms pick up on different things in relation to overall mid and upper level flow. A slight deviation can lead a storm forecast astray.
