Heres a happy update on three kittens Shadow Cats pulled last year from the Arlington, Tx open intake shelter with the help of Friends of Arlington (TX) Animal Services (FAAS) - and why fostering is so important. Hours from euthanasia, they are some of the lucky ones. Remember Emily, Emerson and Elsie? They are celebrating their first birthday today! Today (and everyday) they get to play, be Divas or Kings or anywhere in between. They get to be themselves. Because they were rescued and fostered and then adopted, their lives will play out as they should. Thank you to all those that pledged, networked and worked so tirelessly to save them from the Arlington shelter. Thank you to Kim, Gina and Shanna for making these kittens dreams come true- they are safe, have a family and are looking forward to their second birthday! . Its these stories that keep us all going.
