It’s a wild 10k off road run through natural terrain including woodland lakes and thick mud. It includes a series of tough obstacles both man made and natural to test mental and physical strength, skill and stamina (think super hardcore krpton factor assault course with wild swimming and mud thrown in) She is raising funds for the day hospital at the Zinnia centre in Birmingham. People spend several weeks at this centre after they have been on the mental health wards to help with the adjustment of going home. All kinds of people use this facility with all kinds of difficulties. They need funds to get basic things for the art room, for physical equipment and gardening and music equipment. The centre has an amazing team who will make every penny count to ensure that people have a more enriched, cultural, positive or rewarding experience. She has a modest target of £200 and has broken over half way and needs a little boost. If you can spare a couple of quid to a tenner she is well worth the effort (she has been training five days a week for thirteen weeks covering between 3K-9K per day!)
