Heres a little light at the end of the tunnel. Might end up being an oncoming train, but here it is anyway: When really painful things come to mind and all you want to do is shut them out and distract yourself from them...dont. I dont mean wallow in it. Just try to acknowledge what your thoughts are. Give yourself 5 minutes to identify your thoughts and identify the fears that you have. Facing them takes some of their power away. A lot of the power fear has comes from it running in the background without having any light shed on it. Very much like how government and politics work.
