Heres a nice idea - why dont we take all of our children across the country on field trips to factory farms and abattoirs? Where they can all see the slaughter first-hand? We could show them how chickens are factory farmed, side-by-side, barely able to move, pumped full of antibiotics, and they could even watch cows and pigs being horribly cruelly killed after living lives full of torture and pain! Does that idea make you angry? Showing kids the real side of the meat industry rather than the happy little pictures of farms with roaming animals on green fields (that dont exist)? Well why is it okay to have those slaughterhouses in the first place? If you can eat meat every day you should be able to face what youre taking part in. Ignorance is the most dangerous thing in the world. If we stopped killing animals like we do and used the land, grain and resources we currently use to feed them instead to feed ourselves, we would be able to feed 1.3 BILLION more people... Also before some clever dick mentions it - yes, I do eat meat. Doesnt make the point any less valid
