Update on Sam. The officer I talked with on the day of the accident gave my contact information to Sams family. I received a very tearful (on both of our parts) from Sams granddaughter who thanked me profusely for being there for Sam. It was humbling, to say the least. I am so glad to have heard from her and still sad for his family but I am so glad they now know he was not alone. RIP Sam. Thank you for the impact you have had on my life in such a short time. I will always remember the lessons learned from my experience with you. I feel like I have another angel watching out for me now.
