Heres a scenario: A young mom is driving down US-1 with her two year old son in the back seat. Everything is going great so far until she pulls out her cell phone and starts texting. Witnesses are honking their horns to worn her about the oncoming vehicle but she ignores them. Her son screams, mama..no! Heres reality: That young mom would rather pay attention to her phone rather then her life, her sons life, and others. Now, all she has left of her son is hearing the echo of his voice that was trying warn his mom about the vehicle. Your (the mom) laying in a stretcher..you can only see the cover that lays across your child..holding his small hand while you say,why God..why did you take him? Now you must live with the guilt..something you probably cant forgive yourself all because of that text message. My response: Im a young mom of two and I know not to text and drive. So next time your on the road ask yourself this: are you really going to risk your life, kids life, or others all just because of a text message? Is it really that important?
