To further the concept of Panim, it seems that by Hashgacha Pratis he is going to a place whose very name Panama is indeed connect with Panim. Not only does it Face (panim) the world wide ocean on both of its sides but for those who hold that there are two oceans, they built a Canal there which makes the path between the waters on either side more easily accessible and less treacherous than traveling all the way north through the impassible Arctic or having to travel all the way around the far southern ends of South America which is full of horrendous hazards to travel. His job is also to help, especially Yidden, to traverse the mayim rabim of this life and empower and energize them with the Well springs of Torah and particularly the Wellsprings of Chassidus. His canal has two ends, in Hebrew ends are called Rosh, which as we know, every head which is indicative of CHaBaD has a Face which is used to express the inner Chabad and Midos to the outside world. Panama can be seen as a joining of Panim and Ma. It could mean the expression of the power of Mem Hei which as is known to the initiated has deep significance in Kabbalah (As Shaul Baum would say in his deep sonorous voice What-ever THAT means). It also, is of course in its simplest meaning Mem Hei spells the word Hebrew word Mah which means - What? So his Face will express to those who come to Panama answers to their questions of What? and instill in them the Koach of the power of Mem-Hei. Chai Elul is coming up shortly, I guess it will be his first major milestone there. So it is significant that is when he is going to Panama, which besides now joining two oceans also joins 2 continents making it a furthest point (chutza) of two places simultaneously and may his bringing of the Maayanois to 2 Chutzois at once it has a double bang to it. May your son be the one to finally fulfill the promise of Moshiach to Rabbi Yisroel Baal Shem Tov that he will come when the Maayonois have spread outwards even before he has actually said or done anything there, that his mere Coming there will suffice and even before he arrives there in actuality. Chai Elul which was September 16 in 1954 is also essentially connected with the Baal Shem Tov the founder of Chassidus and the first Rebbe of Lubavitch, who we call the Alter Rebbe, Rabbi Shneor Zalman who got all the best parts and passed on to us the power and ability to spread those Wellsprings Outwards. Just like the Alter Rebbes name means two lights that too will give him the power of joining and using the kochois of two oceans and the joining of two continents to accomplish THE deed.
