Heres a website the gives you a glimpse of who wrote the Affordable Care Act and what their interests were. Bottom line, the Affordable Care Act was not written by altruistic idealists, and it certainly wasnt written by Obama. Obama was just the puppet who was put up in public to smooth over the rough spots so people would not look too deeply into who drafted the bill, the interests they were seeking to serve, and how they were able to lay it down in front of the Congress in completed form in such a manner that even the speaker of the House wasnt interested in learning its contents until after they voted for it. This is proof that Congress doesnt control policy. Other individuals and groups outside of Congress are writing and controlling policy. The Congress and the president are just acting as stooges for these outside groups that work largely in secret, out of the daily scrutiny of the public eye. The process by which the Affordable Care Act was passed makes it abundantly clear that there is a shadow government composed of self interested groups. It is not paranoid to suggest it as this article makes it clear. Our mass media is no longer our watchdog, as they passively and uncritically allow it to happen, never asking the critical questions or forcing our legislators to account for such a corrupt process.
