Heres an arrangement I did of Ellingtons Stompy Jones for an Arbors Records album I did twenty years ago (??!!) called Chapter 2: The Plot Thickens. Its out of print, but available on iTunes and such. With Mike Karoub on bass (he played mostly cello on this album, and Paul Keller played bass on the other tracks), Jeremy Kahn on piano, Harry Allen on tenor sax, Scott Robinson (jazz musician) on clarinet (among other things), Howard Alden on guitar, and Joe Ascione on drums. I played a 22 Conn Victor cornet on this track, for those keeping score. And this was NOT the album cover, and I did not post this, somehow YouTube did.
