Heres an essay and a half!! So my Mam Eileen Billett has been living at my house for a few weeks while shes been waiting to move into her new property. Unfortunately not all the time she has spent at my house has her health been at its best and has meant shes needed to rest and recuperate, for those who know my mam theyll be aware that she never stops especially when it comes to helping others and always puts herself last. So Id like to just take this chance to tell my mam that its been a pleasure having her say at my house and an even greater pleasure to see her recovery (which is obviously still continuing), although I have constantly had to tell her not to do anything around my house and that she cant let all 8st of Thor sit on her knee when he wants to. I have to admit when she first came to stay I was looking forward to throwing some of the old sayings back at her like .... My house my rules .... While youre under my roof what I say goes! ...Or ..... who pays the bills round here? ... So Im a little gutted I didnt manage to crowbar them in. Not goin to say Ill miss having you here cos Im quite looking forward to having a shite with the bathroom door open and walking round my house in my birthday suit but I do hope you settle in to your new place well (once youre there). Call me soft all yous want, lifes too short not to tell your family you love them. Love you mother! X
