Heres an interesting little novelty from the seventies... The comics code authority stamp in the top right corner was changed to cosmic code, and a discussion elsewhere about this led me to ask letterer Tom Orzechowski about the incident. He replied with a little inside information: It was a joint effort. As memory serves, Al Migrom came up with the idea and put it to good use on a Dr. Strange cover. The office caught it and changed it back. Englehart, Starlin and I were housemates at that time, and Steve must have mentioned it. Couldnt tell you whether it was Jim or I who decided to give it another go, but Jim drew the cover, handed it to me, and I did the blurb & adjusted the Comics Code seal in the same evening. We can assume that the office was content that theyd nipped this insurrectionist thinking in the bud, and didnt notice that itd happened again.
