Heres an update on mom, sorry I havent had the time to respond to my emails and phone calls but I appreciate the concerned and caring people who have sent emails and called. Mom was flown to Geisinger Thursday afternoon. They drilled a hole in her skull and put in a drain tube to release the fluid and blood leak in the brain. Friday morning the Neurosurgeon team did an arteriography? in hopes of being able to lasso the aneurysm but unfortunately they were unable to do that so mom ended up having a very invasive brain surgery. She came through the operation as well as they could have expected and they were able to remove the aneurysm. She will probably be at Geisinger for at least 6 to 8 weeks.
