Heres my client Vicky performing forward and reverse lunges. These are great for targeting all the muscles in the legs and glutes. Although both lunges work the same muscles, the reverse lunge is a slightly safer option of the two, due to the fact there is less stress and weight placed on the knee joint at the bottom of the movement. Performing the two exercises like Vicky is, allows her to focus more on controlling her balance when transferring her weight from front to back, bringing in a lot of core strength to keep her upper body in the correct upright position throughout. #jvfitness #lunges #legs #glutes #core
