Heres my opinion for what its worth. Ive refrained from commenting on anyone elses post for fear of unintentionally offending someone. It doesnt matter what race or religion a person is...everyone should cooperate with law enforcement. Guilty or not, everyone gets a chance to explain. Everyone has the same rights and are responsible for knowing them. Being defiant, belligerent, apprehensive, defensive, elusive or uncooperative in any way leads to a worsening of the situation and future similar situations. Cops are becoming afraid. People who wouldve been great cops are choosing other careers. If we continue to allow people to question authority we will be living in anarchy before we know it. If we prosecute police officers for their choices, eventually we will need the national guard to walk the city streets. The cause is the cause, in this case. Teach your kids to respect the laws and authority. There are ways to change things if you dont like them. Being an asshole will get you killed.
