Heres one for you folks who like to bash the cops at every opportunity. This officer showed great restraint and it sounds like he got shot for his good deed. He should have started shooting at this guy as soon as he advanced. Did he wait longer for fear of being the next Darren wilson? Yes the cops make mistakes and they are not perfect. When events like this part of your job you should (and are in most states) given The benefit of the doubt when these situations go wrong in a split second. What if This guy was unarmed, there was no video and he approached The cop with his hand behind his is back. Cop shoots and kills and we have Ferguson all over again. There are plenty of reasons to shoot an unarmed person... Remember its the cops who are responsible to remove dirt bags like this guy from society so consider your criticism carefully
