Heres some points from Rogers talk. (our secret shopper) A brand is a perception (what is the first thing that comes to mind) It is what people think of you, not what you say you are. All brands have a narrow focus 97% of community based marketing is ineffective because we try to be all things to all people You cant be all things to all people. Find your niche and promote like crazy Dont market what you have; market what differentiates you. Everyone has to be able to buy in to it. Now Im thinking that the doorway concept is too broad. What else are we about? Feel free to chime in, folks.
