Some thoughts on the strange fact that I saw PINK in concert last night: she has a pot belly made of pure muscle, she has a pretty powerful set of pipes, and she calls herself a feminist yet uses juvenile role-reversal tactics to portray her effervescent, imitation woman-power by pretending to abuse her male dancers on stage, using the word slut (she yelled, Im not a slut, you are! And pointed to her male guitar player) and singing songs like Stupid Girl. I guess simply deflecting misogynistic, patriarchal paradigms by pretending to point them at men on her payroll is edgy for the pop world--- but still misguided, brainless and backwards in my opinion. Just sayin. It was still cool to see a bunch of insane, Matrix-looking dancers crawling around on a flying ball-cage.
