Heres the Irving Newton tune At The Weeping Willow Ball performed by Joseph Samuelss (Tampa Blue) Jazz Band (https://youtube/watch?v=k2A_7dm7EII) with Jules Levy Jr. & Julius Berkin or Hymie Farbermans trumpets, Eph(raim) Hannafords trombone (Wendy Gardner & Craig Hannafords uncle grandpa), Larry Brierss piano, an unknown tuba (possibly John Pop Helleberg) & Herman Berkins drums. Samuels cut this side in New York on January 1 from 1923 & it went issued on Okeh 4777 & Lindström American Record A-4153. Irving Newton also composed Room Rent Blues, which was recorded by King Olivers (Creole) Jazz Band with Louis Armstrong for Okeh on the same year. Have fun with this circus-influenced jazz tune (i consider it circus-influenced because some musical phrases are reminiscent of the music heard in the circus)!
