Heres the latest. Earlier the doctor said if I could keep down a little food, I could go home. Ive managed to do that, but feels like rocks in my tummy. He wanted extra Iv fluids because of blood work results, but they must go really slowly with the drip because it burns. Then my silly back has begun to hurt. Nurse said my IV fluids wouldnt be finished till late and release would take a while, so they gave us a choice for release tonight or early in the morning. We discussed it and decided to stay one more night to be sure these rocks in my stomach dont act up and to get all the fluids they think I need. Some other odd things have happened that Im not going into have made me feel weird since last night. We talked to my surgeon and one down here, and both said the odd, unexpected thing Im not going to get into is nothing to worry about. They say it happens to some people that have had this surgery. Its not common, but what is with me? I think I would rather stay one more night and hopefully go home feeling better for once. I hope you guys dont get tired of my prayer requests, so Im still begging for prayers. Seems like I take a small step forward and a giant step back. Ill be so glad when all my steps are forward.
