Heres the latest from the MS Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada Ill give you the short and sweet version first. Diet and exercise is good, but some people with MS are extremely crippled and paralyzed and find that exercise exacerbates their symptoms and/or brings on relapses. The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, however, is going to have an evening of speakers ALL of whom are going to imply that if exercise is implemented more heavily. and extreme functional diet is adhered to. people with MS could clear up their symptoms. What are they going to base this on? Soft data, hypothesis and supposition that has been tailored to what they want to believe. What will these speakers not have? Emperical Scientific Data (data based upon provable scientific results). Why will they not have HARD DATA? Because they really dont have any scientific proof of anything they are saying. Heres the email I just got and the above statement is WHY I will NOT be joining in their webinar. I think it will be a BLAME THE PATIENT extravaganza, and I have better things to do: You are invited... To a live webcast of Winnipegs MS Connect Conference on Friday, October 17. Simply bookmark this link to the live webcast. This is a free service and all you need is access to the internet and speakers. You will be able to take in the keynote speakers: Pat Kennedy at 10am CST, and Dr. Tania Bruno at 2:45pm CST. Feel free to share this link and email with anyone who might have an interest in the webcast. ____________________________________________________________________ Learn strategies for health and well-being and connect with others living with MS.
