Heres the thing. No matter what you do in life, your goal is still simple and everyones is the same. We all simply want happiness. Some of us have a bumpier road than others before we finally find it, and some of us are blessed and find it sooner rather than later. Some are left so bitter because they feel that life has failed to bestow them the happiness they deserve.. News flash.. Dont expect anything to just be handed to you. Just like everything else in this world, you have to work for everything you have, and that doesnt exclude happiness. Youve got to find happiness for yourself before you can make someone else happy, and youre not going to find it while walking around, blaming the world for your pain, and trying to make everyone else as bitter as you! Married couples whove been married for years and still love like day one will tell you that it takes work on both sides to keep that love and happiness alive. And then there are those who wrongfully judge others who simply love fast and hard. He/she loves every one of em they get with... Tell me something.. Have you ever put yourself in those shoes? To want to love and be loved with such a passion that you crave it? To give your everything and truly care so much about someone to trust them not to hurt you only to watch them walk away without a second glance? Have you ever given love so freely only to never have been blessed to have it returned? Or maybe youve found yourself wondering if youre broken.. if something is wrong with you.. youre doing something wrong and no one will ever love you... No? then what gives you the right to act as god and judge those who are less fortunate and have not found their one yet... I WILL NOT back down from searching for my happiness, for my one, and for the love that I KNOW I deserve.. I WILL fight for it with everything I have and pray to God every single day that he keep us strong in our faith and in our love for each other.. And i WILL NOT let the pains and heart aches that ive suffered deter me from loving again... I have recently started something brand new with someone and have found myself being talked about because of the circumstances that this relationship has developed from. I know that I myself have went out of my way to ensure that neither of our previous significant others feel any disrespect from this relationship as that was not our intentions, but I now feel the need to point out that THEY gave up on US!! THEY walked away from US and long before we found each other... And the fact that we found each other and have begun something wonderful from our PAIN (and trust me, there was pain) is something so beautiful and amazing to us, so who are you to stand on your pedestals and judge us for the happiness that weve found in each other and for how we survived what weve been through?? If you cannot consider yourself our friends and if you cannot simply be happy for us, then please, by all means, press that delete button and then remind me to give a damn later....
