Heres to my daily dose of afternoon mutt-love-vitamin Rani, our resident apartment complex doggy...named aptly by the kids...MAJOR attitude she has...and is a very very brand conscious one when it comes to her cookies! I have a long history with her...in 2005 when this apartment was nothing but one big hole in the ground, and when we used to visit that hole(a promise of our first ever dream home)with a lot of pride every weekend, on one such visit I spotted a malnourished tiny pup scampering around amidst all the chaos and mud and machines. I went back home crying and couldnt stop thinking about it and prayed and prayed and bugged the husband whining about it and prayed some more that it would somehow survive. And lo! Here she is :-)...For all these years I have tried to make friends with her, but being very shy and scaredy, a result of her struggle for survival she never let me come close. It took a long time, and then I lost my patience and decided to buy her love...biscuits u see ;-)...we are friends now! She has learnt to recognize money...sees it in the hand and follows, or sometimes even guides to the provision store inside the complex! Consumerism and its vices :-P!
