Heres what I know about the American justice system: 1) If you commit a crime, you are subject to being arrested. If you cooperate, you may be beaten. If you refuse, you may be shot. 2) Once arrested, you have the right to remain silent so as not to incriminate yourself. You also have the option of making one phone call, usually to your brother or ex-girlfriend, and you will be remanded with a large balding biker interested in romance. 3) If the verdict of your court case does not favour you, you legally have two options - appeal to a higher court, or loot and riot in the streets. Not sure if I have number three correct though. Its possible the rioting may be mandatory in some jurisdictions, but that may be in case of natural disaster, not unfavourable verdict.
