Heres what facebook wont tell you about my 2014 year in review. ManagementParadise completed 10 years and is nearing 6,00,000 members mark. It grew 10 percent compared to 2013 despite all odds, ups and downs and google algo updates. The web is exploding with micro niche sites but the giant still manages to more forward like rocky balboa with the keep moving forward mantra. We served over 8 million page views this year and increased our global share of voice by a good margin. This years goal is globalization, scaling up content acquisition through cutting edge technology. bms.co.in grew by 480% and clocked over 8 million views .. just a little short of managementparadise ;) I hope to see the same growth story on this one. We rolled out OnlineMBA.co.in and its seeing some signs of progress. This venture is providing Online MBA degrees taught by the best of profs at a very affordable price point of Rs. 2500/- to Rs. 3500/- Smaller ventures like hsc, cpt, bba, b-school etc have started showing signs of progress and looks like with some investments made in content, they will flourish and serve a few million views every year. Another satisfaction of 2014 is that of putting an entrepreneurs interest over mine and giving real advice instead of taking advantage of the situation by investing in it in lieu of equity. He raised a large sum of money within a week! I finally started acting on my long lost interest of investing in equities. Its not as high risk reward as angel investing but its promising. 2015 looks very challenging and exciting. Lets see where it takes us!
