Heres what were dealing with, kids. Listening to The LA areas - TopicsExpress

Heres what were dealing with, kids. Listening to The LA areas largest Talk-Format Radio Station, KFI, tonight in the car on the way home from work. The host, Tim Conway Jr. (at least his dad was funny!) is kind of a buffoon that *usually* stays clear of politics but, when he does, leans right. His co-host started going on what a wonderful president Ronald Reagan was... especially concerning the number of Executive orders given, only 3 to Pres. Obamas 1000+... circumventing Congress and giving the listener the impression that the President is some kind of tyrant. Wow... I thought, could that possibly be true? When I got home, looked it up on Snopes and, not only is it NOT even close to being true, Reagan had over a hundred more than Obama. Clearly... it is now Oky-Doky to go one the radio and lie your ass off to advance your agenda. People believe it without doing even the smallest bit of research. Despite having MORE knowledge at our fingertips than any time in human history... we also seem to be the most lazy, gullible and maeleable. But I have to say... the guy sounded SO convinced that he was telling the truth, that he was compelling. I guess thats the game. Went to the KFI Facebook page and wrote the following. I encourage any of you who care to do the same. Im not afraid of the truth, but bald faced liars who are that persuasive and have such a large bully pulpit scare hell out of me. Heres my note to The Tim Conway, Jr. Show: What a liar your co-host on tonights show is. I heard his remark about President Obamas having over a thousand Executive Orders as opposed to Reagans three... I thought, wow, can that possibly be true? The short answer is NO. Not even close. If you, your show OR KFI had any integrity, you would post an apology for spreading internet-generated lies. How can I believe ANYTHING you say from this point forward? For those who want to know the truth... or, at least, as close as anyone gets these days, heres the Snopes report; its more like Reagan: 381 to Obamas 168. Quite a discrepancy, huh? You should be ashamed of yourselves!
