Heres what were up against. I received this inbox message yesterday on the main Fan Page. We get some nastygrams at least once a week, but mostly fan mail. Jan 13th, 9:56pm Does the Republican party think the American people will go out on a limb and elect another black man? Will the majority elect another political newbie, especially one with no political background, experience, or political advisers or contacts (kind of like Obama)? Obama has been such a complete failure as the first black president. Hes not just a black failure, but hes done so much damage to our country as well and seems intent on doing as much harm as he possibly can before his term is up. Ben Carson seems like a real possible contender, but, so did Barak H. Obama when he first campaigned. He turned out to be an habitual liar, a fraud, and scam artist who thinks nothing about selling out and destroying the country he swore to protect. I need some reassurance that this man loves his country, loves our constitution and vows to honor the laws of the United States over those of all others. Pretty speeches and videos arent enough any more. How can we, the American people, know for sure that Ben Carson is for real? MY RESPONSE Thank you for contacting us. I read, re-read and then read your note again. My kneejerk reaction was, ist this person for real?!? But, thought for a minute and have decided to respond. In fact, we may use your email (name excluded) for future use. 1. “go out on a limb and elect another black man?” - You certainly can’t be serious. Do you really think one’s skin pigmentation is a prerequisite for leadership? Your first line in your comment suggests that you may not appreciate our founding father’s document that guides our country “all men are created equal and endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights.” We wholesale reject your premise. We all are created with unique abilities and talents to develop and all have the ability to achieve whatever level of success an individual desires. 2. “no political background experience” – Really? This Country is embroiled in crisis after crisis largely created by politics and politicians. That $18 Trillion dollar national debt and an un-educated population didn’t just happen. 3. “or political advisors or contacts (kind of like Obama)” - Hmmm, again we reject your premise on many levels. Regrettably, Obama had surrounded himself with a host of advisors; advisors that have a far different view of America and what our country is all about. UNLIKE the current president, this organization is surrounded with conservative leaders who believe in the promise of America and hold our constitutional foundation in high regard. 4. “Ben Carson seems like a real possible contender, but, so did Barak H. Obama when he first campaigned.” - Again, you take great leaps to compare us to Obama. In fact, we have NEVER embraced Obama, his message or his leadership or lack thereof as a benchmark for measure good government or a healthy vision. 5. “I need some reassurance that this man loves his country, loves our constitution and vows to honor the laws of the United States over those of all others.” --- Part of the answer to your comment REQUIRES you to do YOUR OWN research. The FACT IS, Carson has been in the trenches like no other contender. He doesn’t spew mere political rhetoric to rah rah people. Carson has, for more than a decade, invested his time, talent and ingenuity to helping young people via Carson Scholars, promoting education and assisting people to learn to read. Carson has been one of the most sought after voices for common sense conservatism and he has involved himself in that fight. He has authored books about his vision for this country that literally millions have appreciated. There is more documented FACT about Dr. Ben Carson than any prior candidate in modern history. You might begin with looking up Wikipedia…. Heck, there’s even been a movie made about this man, Gifted Hands and of course President Bush bestowed the Medal of Freedom honor on him, which is the highest honor that can be bestowed on a civilian.
