Heritage Baptist Secretariat By: Nii Adotey Pappoe 10 hours ago Christians have been called upon to re-position themselves to receive the blessings of the Lord. Giving the call, Pastor Samuel Obese of the Liberty Baptist Church, Abelemkpe here in Accra, explained that just as Jesus took the Blind man out of town for him to receive his healing as recorded in Mark 8: 22-26, as Christians there was a need for us to separate ourselves from the world. The occasion was to appreciate the Pastor in Charge of the Heritage Baptist Church also here in New Achimota, Accra. The event which also co-incided with the birthday of Pastor Andrew Pappoe Jnr was fully organized and sponsored by the Choir and the Young Christian Professionals Network as well as other friends and loved ones. Speaking to yours Truly, a member of the Church who did not want to disclose his identity explained that Pastor Pappoe had earlier on wanted to do away with the celebrations, since the best way to celebrate him, was to help with the work of God. Next November marks the anniversary month of the Church since its establishment. In attendance was Pastor Adjei-Bisa, Pastor Maxwell Tofah of Grace Baptist Church, West lands and Brothers George Sodoken and Raymond Fynn. Reporting for Heritage News Raphael Saaalem, Ga West, New Achimota.
