Heritage High School Band Parents & Students: Here is some info concerning this Saturday, Aug 10th. Event name: Heritage Mountaineer Madness Festival Community Pep-Rally Reason: To create more spirit within the community in order to support all fall sports, trainers, cheerleaders & band members. It is also a fundraiser for the football booster organization. Activities involved: Local bands providing music, food, car show, silent auction, arts & crafts, games, drawings for door prizes (since there will be a car show in the back parking lot, you may need to drive through the front gate! Time: 4:00-11:00 pm HHS Band involvement: The HHS marching band students will be introduced individually at approximately 6:40 pm & will then perform some stand music. If a student or parent desire to attend the entire event, you may do so. However, band students need to be here from 5:30-7:15 pm. Price: Band students will not pay admission. If parents want to attend, the price is $3.00 per person. If a parent does not want to attend the event, you may drop your child off at the school & come back later to pick up your child. As you are aware, we have many events scheduled throughout the fall semester. Therefore I am not requiring band students to attend this event. However, I hope to have enough participation to give support to our football team & other fall sports and to have a good instrumentation in order to perform well in front of the public.
