Hey - RockN Rod fans. I want to give you the update on the event. First of all, we all know that safety is our first concern. We got bumped on Water Street because of progress happening in downtown Sioux City. We all want that to happen. The RockN Rods committee worked diligently with city staff and tried everything to make the drag races happen. 3rd Street between Jackson and Virginia just is not safe in its current condition. The contractor for the Water Street project also worked with us but the street closes July 10th. We are still having the event on July 20 - we will have a FREE show n shine event on 3rd Street. This will start at 3 p.m. Saturday until midnight and we will have our beer garden, 3 live bands - Mid Drift, Back Track, and Top Down. From 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. we will have the Cruise the Loop event. We sincerely hope you will all continue to support the event because next year we will come on stronger and have a great street to drag race on. This will be a family event with Music, Cars of all ages, styles and designs. Come one come all for FUN, MUSIC, FRIENDS AND FREE TO ATTEND AND PARTICIPATE.
