Hey C@PC, I just wanted to let you know that the surgery on my shoulder was apparently a lot more involved than they had previously anticipated. The Dr. Told me it was one of the most complicated he has ever done and one of the worst he has ever seen. I asked him about traveling and he told me I need to cancel my plans on traveling to KC for the church planters conference I was scheduled to attend this coming week. And that traveling to Annual conference in Nebraska would be out as well. He said that the Kentucky & New York trip I have scheduled with Micah will be allowed but I will have to do what Im told between now and then, and while Im there. So, for me that is going to mean I will not be starting physical therapy until after I have my follow up with the Dr. Next week and that in the mean time I will be needing to keep my shoulder as immobilized as possible for the next 4 weeks, and I will need to be being very careful not to damage my rather extensive repairs. I have spoken with my Gary Brooks (the Wichita East Dist Sup) and he has excused me from attending Annual Conference and the meeting in KC next week. Likewise, I will be needing to work from home primarily for the next 3-4 weeks. I am planning on preaching Sundays and will still be doing scheduled weddings, etc. Thank you all very much for your prayers, encouragement and support so far! You all are an amazing bunch of Jesus people and I love ya tons! Truly! So, as I shared on Sunday that I was cultivating the habit of asking for a miracle of some kind every day, Id like to ask each of you to join me in asking for a miracle of healing for my shoulder, that all the repairs hold, and that I will have a complete healing and 100% restored function.
