Hey Dudes! Sorry this is late - But, as you know, flag football is today at 6:30! The rules are here: https://drive.google/file/d/0BxNEdZoJviwlM3M2WDJuak1sZnc1UzZWUVFkbVp5c1Rjd0ZZ/edit?usp=sharing Some highlights: Rule Highlights: Game Setup • Teams start on their own 10 yard line • There are 2 first downs: the first is at half field, the second is the goal line • Teams have 4 downs to advance the ball to each marker • On 4th down, teams can choose to: - Go for it on 4th down. If teams do not convert, it will be a turnover on downs - Punt - the opposing team gets the ball at their own 10 yard line Game Play • There will be two markers at the start of each play: one to mark the offensive line of scrimmage and a second cone 7 yards back from the line of scrimmage: • Defense can line up at the line of scrimmage unless they wish to rush the quarterback. Players lined up at the line of scrimmage may not cross the line of scrimmage • Defensive players who wish to rush the QB must start behind the 7 yard marker. There is no limit to the number of players rushing as long as they all line up behind the 7 yard marker • Quarterback may not run the ball past the line of scrimmage unless a defensive player blitzes and crosses the line of scrimmage At the minimum, one out of every three plays must involve a female. This means a female must: - Run the ball - Throw the ball - Catch the ball (attempts count) - Snapping the ball to a male QB does not count Scoring • A standard touchdown is worth 6 points. Touchdowns thrown or caught by a female player are worth 9 points • Point after touchdown: -1 point: one play from the 5 yard line - 2 points: one play from the 10 yard line • An intercepted pass during the try that is returned for a touchdown = 3 pts Please let me (or someone else since Im clueless haha) know if you have any questions!
