Hey Everyone! So its Puff Puff Twin J and I just went on a cruise! WHOO WHOO! But you know what that means! WATER, WIND, HUMIDITY, SAND, LAAAAATE NIGHTS, and many other potential Fly Fro Killers. Heres a few pics and a description on how I fought the elements and kept my fro in good condition!! Day 1: I traveled with 2nd day medium-sized twists, moisturized with Dark and Lovely Au Naturale Anti-Breakage Super Softening Hair Butter (NEW fave) & sealed with olive oil. I sported a twist out on Day 1. That night I dry twisted my hair & lightly moisturized the ends! Day 2: I wore a twist-out, AGAIN! This was the day before the beach, so that night I did mini-twists, moisturizing each small section with Dark and Lovely Au Naturale Anti-Breakage Super Softening Hair Butter! (I spilled all my olive oil so I couldnt use it to seal my ends!!! ) Day 3:BEACH DAY! I wore mini-twists in two pigtails (bc Im a big kid) while in the water I tucked & protected my ends by making two little buns. Right after returning to the ship, I washed my hair in the mini-twists using my special shampoo from Walmart that treats my seborrheic dermatitis and Aussie moist conditioner. I detangled each section and retwisted my hair. I left my hair in those twists for the rest of Day 3 after moisturizing again with Dark and Lovely Au Naturale Anti-Breakage Super Softening Hair Butter. Day 4: My twist out came out very defined and moisturized (no pics sorry! ) but this day was very humid and windy so my fro just expanded and yeah! So that night I sprayed my scalp with thyme (to help with my seborrheic dermatitis) and retwisted/moisturized the sections!!! And thats how I kept my hair in tact while ENJOYING my cruise!!
