Hey Everyone. Thank you for still being apart of Helping to Heal Chloe page! Sorry I have not given an update on Chloe thus far, every time I would remember I wouldnt get to it. Chloe is doing very well, she finished her Chemo treatment in June, and had her weekly visits to the Oncology Clinic at Childrens Hospital. It was quite the transition from going to the hospital 3 times a week for treatment, to going twice a week, then once a week, now once a month. Since her treatment has finished, Chloe AFP (tumor marker) level was staying at a mid level, and as of two weeks ago, dropped to a magical number of 7! This was amazing news to hear, although the constant worry and anxiety still plagues us at time. Physically and spiritually wise Chloe is being a normal 16 month old. She is walking and most times running, talking and saying more words day by day. Her range of words is very encouraging as one of the chemo medications called Cisplatin can cause hearing loss, so the fact that she is speaking and saying words is such a blessing. She is an amazing eater, she loves her fruits and veggies and recently surprised us with her love of avocado! lol. She loves to read, watch her brother play and she is very adventurous, often daring herself to jump off of things (raising my anxiety levels). Here are a few photos of Chloe during the summer, her hair is growing back nicely and she is as energetic as can be.
