For the past 16 years weve made a place for artists to bring work to a participatory audience like no other in our city. Weve shown visual artists in every form and genre imaginable, Weve moved from a storefront to a warehouse, then wandered the wilderness for a couple of years. Now, were home in a hundred-year-old piece of history thats inevitably part of a movement to bring life to South Downtown, doing what weve always done: making a place for possibilities. As youre making your end-of-year financial contributions, please consider including Eyedrum. Eyedrum will be the subject of study for a group of senior architecture students at Georgia Tech. At the end of the semester well have drawings, plans, and a wealth of information to move forward with. September 2015 well host a major exhibition of works by members of the Mid-South Sculpture Alliance. Eyedrum Periodically, the online quarterly journal, will bring out a print edition of Best Of works from the first year of publication. The Performance Committee will gather composers, choreographers, designers and dancers to create movement works in a 24-hour period that culminate in a public performance. And Eyedrum will continue to bring music, sound, and noise performances by artists from around the world. Please consider participating financially with Eyedrum--making a place for possibilities.
