Hey Face book family, Today I went to Compton to do a few evaluations on my teams project houses. This time it hit me, the home owners of one of these homes are older and the husband, who would have usually have taken care of these home repairs has an illness where he cant walk or stand for any period, Just cant do any home repair or maintenance. Well this had me think what If I had came down with something like this. But I dont let my emotions show I do my evaluation and offer the world praying that we can deliver. These are the people and homes I love being part of. I will not show pictures but the house is in such bad shape the roof rafters are all termite eaten and the floor of the house is open to the ground in some spots and as level as a rollercoaster. the windows are original to the house era 1920 or so and are about ready to fall in on themselves. Our team will do our best to paint and clean up the yard but so much more needs to be done. It is heartbreaking to see a home in such poor condition and elderly people are doing all they can to live in it. You can help on this house or many like it justdogood.org
