Hey Fam, This young man came to me for help because he couldnt - TopicsExpress

Hey Fam, This young man came to me for help because he couldnt afford to go back to school. Unable to cut him a check (and if I could of, I would have) I put together this tune for him to help him raise money. I had absolutely nothing to do with the words. He literally just made this up in the booth. We were planning to do something else and he said, Mr. Johnny as the young man calls me, Can we try something? Naturally I said, Run with it! And when he did, he gave me chills! Hes no Jay Cole but I like him. Were going to sell this tune to his friends and family for 99 cents and whatever donations he can get towards his 20k a-year tuition. Why not?! You hear about these stories all the time. Heres a chance for YOU to be a part of one. Stay tuned for the launch of our Online Music Store Called Brooklyn Class Music. We will be showcasing home grown music straight out of Brooklyn, New York, bringing you the hottest sounds and unknown artist around. We wont be Brooklyn snobs, of course any artist that wants this Brooklyn sound were creating can join our honorary Brooklyn Class Family but as our name suggest, we reserve the right to be choosy. We want different, palatable, un-offensive music for the broadest audience. The market is already saturated with that other popular stuff so were not interested in that market share. Were looking to do things a bit differently (Ive adopted this strategy from my 7-year experience at American Express). Our production team, F.L.O.W. is establishing something we want YOU to support so that it belongs to us. We want it to be strong, classy, informative, creative, diverse and most of all, ours! Were all artist, songwriters, musicians, and producers and were all conduits for the same. YOU MUST SUPPORT THE ARTS; especially if you like it. Be honest with yourself and consider how much art you support daily you dont like? Weve learned to accept and tolerate creative difference, which is great, however you should support what you like vigorously. With that said, Stay tuned for the launch of Brooklyn Class Music which will feature music, written and produced by the F.L.O.W. family. The first item for sale will be I Just Want To Go To School by Big Bishop. You may ask why would I buy this song when I already have it through Facebook and reverberation? The answer is, this is more about philanthropic support. Its no more than a suggested donation similar to the fees at a museum. We want you to have our music, whether you can afford to pay for it or not. Pay for what you like. We hope you recognize the importance of donating to the arts and choose to support us. In closing, my team and I have love for all things and all people but we must attend to the weak before we can celebrate with the strong. See you soon. G.B. ttp://youtu.be/R-CjLJtRdSc
