Hey Fish Fans, Once a month were going to start profiling YOUR tanks! Thats right, every month we will select one of our customers aquariums and show pictures and a description of the size, lighting, filtration used on the system as well as the livestock in the system. This months profile is on the Saltwater aquarium of the Father and Son duo Dennis & Alex! Dennis & Alex have been customers of ours since we first opened our doors nearly 3 years ago and here is there main aquarium (they have several)...... * TYPE OF AQUARIUM: Saltwater Reef * SIZE: Marineland 250 gallon Deep Dimension * LIGHTING: Aquaillumination Sol Blue, 2 250w Metal Halide, 2 aquaillumination Hydra * FILTRATION: RLSS R8-i protein skimmer, 2 filter socks, 2 pockets for filter floss. 1 vortech MP40, 2 jebao wp40s, 1 jebao rw15 * OTHER EQUIPMENT: Avast Marine Vibe Automatic Zeovit Reactor, Gfo and Carbon Reactors, Vertex Libra Doser * LIVESTOCK, FISH: Tangs: Naso, Chocolate, scopas, dejardains sailfin, 2 Blue Regal, Bicolor Foxface, Clownfish: 2 snowflake, 2 saddleback Melanurus wrasse, cleaner wrasse, Leopard Wrasse, 6 Chromis, filefish, Bluethroat Trigger * CORALS: Various leathers, frogspawn, a few various frags of montipora and acropora * MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE: Weekly water change(10%), usual zeovit dosing schedule * In your opinion what additive or piece of equipment has shown to have the biggest impact on the overall health of the fish/corals? - Definitely my zeovit system, it has definitely opened the sps door for me, before there was no way I could keep any sps, and I now plan purchase more acropora and montipora. * WATER PEREMITERS: Salinity: 1.024-5, temperature: 26.1-5, calcium 420-450, magnesium 1300-1350, Alkalinity 7-8, nitrate 0, phosphate 0.1ppm
