Hey Friends of New Life, were still waiting for a more permanent outlook for Spring, but last Friday night out at Frozen, gave me some hope! There is much happening as we head toward the finish line of this semester, so here goes… Friday Night Life will be another dinner together at the Pons house at 6 PM (Rides will leave from the Pollock Testing Center at 5:45) Afterwards we will split off into Guys & Girls nights out! Iron Chef Night returns next Friday, April 4. Invite your friends and come prepared to stir the pot and work like a Cake Boss! March 29 – Senior EXIT Workshop: Financial Faithfulness: Biblical Stewardship After College Join us as professional financial planner, Dave Seibel, prepares us with stewardship principles and practices. We’ll cover basic budgeting, dealing with debt, and bigger finance concerns for the long haul. 10:00AM-4:00PM at Calvary Church Fellowship Hall (1250 University Dr). Hot breakfast and lunch provided. Rides available. Registration required HERE. Serving Opportunities… Waste Not is our community ministry delivering meals from the dining commons to community group homes each night. Breakfast Crew should be returning this Friday from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM in the Palmer Art Museum Patio area ( Next to the Forum). Another community service (and cultural) opportunity is coming up on Saturday, April 5. From 3 PM - 7 PM we are looking for 5 volunteers to help serve in the cafe at the Indian Pow-Wow taking place at the Mt. Nittany Middle School here in State College. What began as a City Serve project a few years ago has continued into an annual time of pitching in and enjoying being immersed in American Indian culture.
