Hey Guys - Amanda Here - how amazing is Jen... When I got the call about this little foal needing help I was exhausted.. I honestly thought - oh god how are we going to do this - I called Jen who was also exhausted and I said Jen, if we dont take him he will die She didnt hesitate at all knowing his care would be around the clock.. Jen works 8 hours per day 6 days her week in her day job and she was doing 2 hour feeds at night with this little fellow before he had to be taken to hospital and even now she is with him at the hospital. Today has been a huge day and after orientation on the Gold Coast I had to rush off to deliver feed and get my horses at the Beaudesert Sanctuary sorted (with the help of some volunteers) but Jen fed her lot alone... She called me to tell me we needed urgent medication from Scenic Rim vets and instead of me rushing it all the way into Bundall from Beaudesert she still met me at Canungra (about half way) - She is a machine... Her heart is bigger than anyone I know and for an old girl we call her mumma gump she has more energy that 10 20 year olds put together... Her passion for helping animals especially horses is what drives her... Thank you Jen... for all you do... We wouldnt have as many horses in care with you Jen xxx
